Alberto Biasi

Alberto Biasi is one of the leading figures of Italian and international optical-kinetic art. He founded the Group N in 1960, alongside other artists, and then he continues his activity as a solo artist. He took part in the historical “Nove Tendencjie” exhibitions, the “Arte Programmata” show curated by Bruno Munari and to the big exhibition “The Responsive Eye” at MoMA in New York. His artistic research has resulted in the following cycles of works: the Trame, the Optical-Dynamic Reliefs, the Torsions, the Sculptures, the Polytypes, the Environments and the Assemblages.
